Fried doughnut recipe is a sweet snack recipe that can be easily made at home. It is a type of leavened fried dough of a circular ring shape just like Indian Medu Vada. It is prepared with the fermented dough which is made with all-purpose flour.
Doughnuts can be coated with melted chocolate sugar icing or with fruit syrup.
INGREDIENTS FOR CHOCOLATE DONUT
½ CUP LUKE WARM MILK
6 TSP SUGAR
2 TSP YEAST
2 CUPS ALL-PURPOSE FLOUR
½ TSP SALT
2 TBSP BUTTER
RECIPE OF EGGLESS CHOCOLATE DONUT
ADD INSTANT DRY YEAST AND SUGAR IN LUKE WARM MILK.
STEP 2 :
COVER IT AND KEEP IT ASIDE FOR 10 MINUTES.
THEN ADD ALL-PURPOSE FLOUR AND SALT TO IT.
MAKE A SOFT DOUGH USING SUFFICIENT WATER.
PUT BUTTER AND MIX IT WELL.
KNEAD THE DOUGH FOR 10 MINUTES.
COVER THE DOUGH AND KEEP IT ASIDE FOR AN HOUR.
AGAIN KNEAD THE DOUGH FOR A COUPLE OF MINUTES AND DIVIDE IT INTO TWO PARTS.
ROLL THE DOUGH WITH THE HELP OF A ROLLING PIN AND MAKE A THICK BIG ROUND.
USE A DONUT CUTTER OR A BOWL TO CUT THE ROUNDS.
THEN MAKE SMALL CIRCLES INSIDE THE CIRCLES.
GREASE A PLATE OR A TRAY WITH BUTTER AND PUT DONUTS ON THEM.
COVER THEM AND LET THEM REST FOR 10 MINUTES MORE.
NOW FRY THE DONUTS ON LOW HEAT UNTIL THEY TURN GOLDEN BROWN WHILE FLIPPING OCCASIONALLY.
MELT ANY CHOCOLATE OF YOUR CHOICE ON A DOUBLE BOILER AND DIP THE DONUTS IN IT.
DRIZZLE CHOCOLATE OR PUT SOME SPRINKLERS ON THEM.
